KNF selected as the best quality company for 17 consecutive years

- Quality innovation achieved through on-site management and innovative production system

KNF (Acting CEO, Kim Sun-doo) announced on November 9th that the company was selected as the “Excellent Quality Competitiveness Enterprise ” at the 43rd National Quality Competition.

KEPCO Nuclear Fuel has been selected as the “Excellent Quality Competitiveness Enterprise ” for 17 consecutive years since 2001. The competition recognizes the company’s efforts to enhance quality across all products through on-site management and innovative performance based on a steady sophistication of KIPS*, its unique production innovation system.

Acting CEO Kim Sun-doo said, “I am pleased that we have an honor to receive this award as this results from all employees’ dedication to reinforce quality at international level. Moreover, we will further upgrade the KIPS as a platform to develop technology that leads the fourth industrial revolution and dedicates procurement of future competitiveness.”

In the competition, Wild Horse Team of the company participated in the team quality competition with a theme of “Reduction of facility failure through improvement of gasification process” to win presidential silver award in the 6 sigma category.
