KEPCO Nuclear Fuel (President Jung Chang-Jin) announced on the 20th that it delivered fruits and Onnuri gift certificates to four social welfare facilities in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, including the Yuseong-gu Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled, through a labor-management joint effort to alleviate the isolation of vulnerable groups in the community and fulfill its social responsibilities as a public institution in celebration of the Lunar New Year.

The donations delivered on that day consisted of Onnuri gift certificates, intended to revitalize traditional markets and local commerce, and fruits purchased from Songgang Traditional Market and sister village farms in Gwanpyeong-dong, which will be distributed to socially vulnerable neighbors in the community through each social welfare facility.

In addition to these activities, KEPCO NF has been consistently conducting social contribution activities to support the community, including operating the Enertopia Volunteer Corps, its internal volunteer group, and carrying out various social contribution activities through collaboration with related organizations. The company was selected as a “Community Contribution Recognized Company” for six consecutive years in December 2024, demonstrating its commitment to spreading a culture of sharing.

President Jung Chang-Jin stated, “In these challenging times of economic downturn, I hope this Lunar New Year neighborly love sharing will help revitalize the local economy and provide warmth to socially vulnerable residents in the area during the holiday season. We will continue to strive to become a company that coexists with the local community through more diverse and effective social contribution activities”.
