On May 24, KEPCO Nuclear Fuel (KNF, CEO Choi Ik-soo) hosted the "Oath ceremony for fulfilling the company's obligations on the Act on the Prevention of Conflict of Interest Related to Duties of Public Servant (the "Act") and appointing integrity agents."

This event was participated in by labor and management to gain the public's trust by fulfilling their legal obligations in a fair manner and with integrity. The ceremony was aimed at enhancing their will to uphold their roles under the Act and effectively handle potential conflicts of interest at work.

Following the passage of the Act, KNF enacted the Guidelines on the Prevention of Conflict of Interest, developed a self-diagnosis checklist for any interest of conflict, posted educational videos for employees, and promoted the guidelines through company forums.

Additionally, 34 integrity agents consisting of Millennials and Generation Z employees were also appointed this day under the goal of nurturing an integrity-centered organizational culture. There was also a session for labor and management where they shared the company's primary agendas and mid- to long-term vision. Integrity agents will be engaging in management-employee communication, the discovery of bottom-up integrity ideas, expanding integrity culture, and so on.

KNF carries out company-wide efforts in institutional innovation, strengthening communication, overthrowing unfair practices to spread a culture of integrity and ethics. Such efforts have shown visible results, such as maintaining the anti-bribery management standard (ISO 37001) for five consecutive years, and obtaining class 2 in 2021 public institution integrity evaluation.

"We will strive to lay the foundation for transparent management through the activities of integrity agents consisting of Millennial and Generation Z employees," said KNF CEO Choi Ik-soo at the ceremony. "We will create an environment and system for ensuring integrity while raising employees' awareness on the Act."
