▣ KEPCO NF(President Kim Ki Hak) was awarded a National Excellence Quality Award for excellence of quality management in 2010 held by Agency for Technology and Standards belonging to the Ministry of Knowledge Economy and superintended by Korean Standards Association, and received selection letter in the conferment ceremony held at the auditorium of Agency for Technology and Standards in the afternoon on the 20th.

▣ KEPCO NF has been awarded a National Excellence Quality Award for excellence of quality management for 10 consecutive years since 2001 because it has won recognition of its rich management results such as the quality improvement of nuclear fuel, the development of the highest level advanced fuel in the world, the improvement of customer satisfaction, and overseas export of fuel assemblies & fuel components by improving its system without cease through systematic quality management activities throughout the whole company. Excellent examples of quality management were presented in this ceremony.

▣ KEPCO NF is the only professional company of design/manufacture of nuclear fuels in Korea. It has accomplished the development of advanced nuclear fuels with the highest level competitiveness in the world and is providing them for commercial use to domestic nuclear power plants as the result of making efforts to develop technology continually after localizing technologies introduced from foreign countries. Moreover, nuclear fuels that KEPCO NF designed and manufactured are expected to be supplied to new nuclear power plant in UAE that KEPCO succeeded in winning a contract in the end of last year.
