▣ KEPCO NF's new president Kim Ki Hak(58 years old) had an inaugural ceremony at an auditorium of ‘Hanmaeum Hall’ in KEPCO NF at 10 a.m. on the 14th(Thur) and started 3 year term of office.

▣ President Kim Ki Hak clarified through his inaugural speech that "KEPCO NF should be worried about how it would contribute to national development and the people's life advancement as well as company's continual growth as a public enterprise in charge of the important pivot of new growing export force industry or green growth one at which the government aims; accordingly, all board members, all employees, and he would try to prepare comprehensive vision and driving strategy with which KEPCO NF would be able to leap to professional Global Top 3 fuel cycle company.”

▣ In addition, he presented management conceptions to actualize visions: ▲first, continuous expansion of growth force through the promotion of management efficiency & the development of new business areas; ▲second, strengthening of human resources & technological capacity to overcome the limit of growth stagnation and leap to professional enterprise with global competitiveness; ▲third, business renovation centered on customers; ▲fourth, the advancement of management system; ▲fifth, the development of advanced win-win labor and management culture based on mutual trust and respect.

▣ Also emphasizing that “Korean nuclear power industries had proven international competitiveness by succeeding in receiving first order of foreign nuclear power plant in UAE in the end of last year; hence, on the basis of that, they should make it the best opportunity to settle sustainable management by finding new growth force at the foreign market including new construction of nuclear power plant in many countries of the world,” he assured that “KEPCO NF would not only make full use of this golden chance but also expand it more, and then concentrate all its efforts and try with all its strength to make fruits of nuclear power renaissance its whole share.”

▣ He is an academic person because he majored in Trade at Kyungki university, received master degree of Management at the graduate school of Management & Administration at Seongkyunkwan university, majored in Venture Management, and received doctoral degree of Management at Seoul Venture Information graduate school university. Also he is an expert of electric industry who had extensively experienced main positions such as a New York branch director, an executive manager of management & information, and a director of Seoul headquarters while he has been working for Korea Electric Power Corporation for over 30 years.

▣ KEPCO NF started to recruit new president publicly in November last year, went through screening by president recommendation committee, and designated president Kim Ki Hak at the extraordinary general meeting of stockholders held in December.
