 - IBA named Lee ‘Executive of the Year - Energy’
- KEPCO NF was highly evaluated in source technology and overseas market development 

 

KEPCO NF announced President & CEO Lee Jae-hee has been named ‘Executive of the Year - Energy’ in Management Awards Category at the International Business Awards for 2015 which took place on October 23 in Toronto, Canada. 

IBA presented the award to Lee for his excellent leadership emphasizing on communication and innovation, which brought the company outstanding business performance such as stable supply of high-quality fuel to local nuclear power plants, a 100% year-on-year increase in net profit by establishing Integrated Management System, and showing a 41% rise in export. He has stayed positive in management and nurtured a new growth engine by leading development of source technology of nuclear fuel, the next generation welding systems, and water soluble coating material, along with achieving license for design codes and export of radioactive soil decontamination equipment, primary fuel parts, and so on. Lee was highly commended on the achievements above and his contribution to energy industry through management innovation and productivity improvement. 

KEPCO NF became the winner of IBA awards for five consecutive years since 2011 by winning four IBA awards this year: ‘Executive of the Year’, ‘Company of the Year’, and ‘Best Website’ in Energy Industry category, as well adding one more named ‘Best House Organ’(publication) in Public Enterprise category.

They were created in 2002 to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide. In short order the Stevie has become one of the world's most coveted prizes being called “Business Oscar”. The International Business Awards is one of the six Stevie Awards programs.
