KNF(CEO, Lee Jae-hee) is building up generating station efficiency and safety by using self-developed crud cleaning technology.  

Crud cleaning is a technology that uses ultrasonic waves to separate  crud on burning nuclear fuel. Separating the crud not only improves the efficiency of nuclear power plant by burning the fuel in a balanced manner, but it also improves the safety of nuclear power plant by reducing the radiation dose in the reactor system. 

In 2007, KNF developed crud washing technology for the second time in the world. And KNF has been pushing forward a crud washing on 12 units from 2014 to 2019 using the acquired technology. Accordingly, sales are forecasted to total 7.9 billion won. 

CEO, Lee Jae-hee said that KNF will continue to develop technology to ensure that our high quality nuclear fuel burns to the end safely and economically.
