KNF develops an international level of design code quality assurance system
- By securing competitiveness of design code, KNF expects overseas market development as well as cost reduction.
 KNF (CEO, Lee Jae-hee) is committed to improving the design code quality and safety by developing international level of design code quality assurance system.
The design code corresponds to the software of the nuclear fuel. KNF has been developing its design code quality assurance procedures, six manuals and document registration system (iCODE) over the past two years from 2015 to 2016 and applying it to the development of design code and maintenance. With the development of systems essential to advance into overseas markets, it is expected to generate profits through quality management services such as continuous maintenance when KNF supplies design codes to overseas markets.
CEO, Lee Jae-hee said that KNF is making continuous efforts to develop software as well as hardware in order to expand KNF’s base to overseas in the field of nuclear power where safety and quality are top priority. And Lee added that KNF will concentrate on creating new growth power through accumulated unique technology.
Meanwhile, last year KNF developed its own export-type nuclear power plant support system ‘OASIS’ for the third time in the world. And KNF has been making steady R&D efforts such as development of Uranium refining technology for the first time in Korea.
