KNF to Host the Annual Meeting of INSAF 2014
- 11 member companies from around the world gather in Busan on Nov. 18
- The meeting offers activities to exchange and discuss current issues on nuclear safety

International nuclear fuel cycle companies gather in Korea to share safety-related information and to promote best practice for public understanding.

KEPCO NF (President and CEO Lee Jae-hee) said on November 12 that they will be the host company for the 12th International Network for Safety Assurance of Fuel Cycle Industries (INSAF), which will be held at Paradise hotel in Busan during the three days of November 18-20.

It views there will be about 30 representatives from 11 member companies to attend the annual meeting, mainly from Korea, U.S., France, China, Japan, Argentina, Brazil, to exchange ideas and discuss current topics towards safety issues and improvement of public understanding.

INSAF was started in 1999 to promote a safety culture, to foster successful safety programs, and to share and exchange safety information among the world's nuclear fuel cycle industries. KEPCO NF from Korea joined the network in 2001 and it has been ten years since the company hosted the 4th annual meeting in 2004.
