KNF with a New Vision Statement for 2030

According to KEPCO NF (President & CEO Lee Jae-hee), the mission statement for the company’s is: “With safe and clean nuclear energy, we will create an abundant future of humanity.” It is a set of ideas from all executives and employees that declare their purpose to respond quickly to uncertainty about the future and to build sustainable management system. The statement proves that KNF’s new mission, vision, and core values have been launched to serve as a world leading fuel cycle company.

KEPCO NF announced a new vision 2030—‘Global Leading Nuclear Energy Partner’—at a ceremony held in the company auditorium on March 19, in the presence of all executives and employees. Together with this vision, it has also declared a set of four core values: Safe, Sustainable, Innovative, and Clean Energy.

The vision 2030 is based on the creative economy of the government to foster the innovation of economic growth. As the key drivers of its future growth engine, the company mainly seeks to improve productivity, create high value-added economy, and explore overseas markets by developing source technology for world-class nuclear fuel and as well combining technologies gained so far.

KNF President Lee remarked today at the ceremony, “For the next thirty years and the future, we should constantly take on new challenges and have a willingness to accept stresses from ever-changing environment.” He also highlighted that “the new mid-long term roadmap 2030 and the statement for new mission, vision and core values are established in the support of all executives and employees. This requires commitment from all the members to achieve the goals of making changes and moving forward for the future success.”
