KEPCO Nuclear Fuel, Certified for the Information Protection Management System ISO27001 |

KEPCO Nuclear Fuel Co. (KNFC, CEO Sang-bong Jeong) announced on 13th that it was certified for the Information Protection Management System ISO27001 by German’s DSQ, a world’s renowned certification institute. The ISO27001 certification is the most prestigious international certification that rigorously evaluates on 26 standard provisions for managerial, physical, technical security and 114 items for control to certify a company which abides by the international standards for all corporate information management activities. The ISO27001 certification provides for KNFC to establish an enhanced cyber security system against ever sophisticated forms of security risks and create a foothold for nuclear fuel export. The company expects the certification will bring positive impacts on customers, domestic and overseas, who call for rigorous standards in regard to information protection.
