KEPCO NF Wins the Grand Prize in Quality Innovation Sector at the 2023 National Industrial Awards |

▣ On the 13th, KEPCO Nuclear Fuel (KNF, CEO Choi Ik-soo) won the grand prize in the quality innovation sector at the 2023 National Industry Awards, which took place at the JW Marriott Dongdaemun Square, Seoul.
▣ Hosted by the Institute for Industrial Policy Studies and sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Seoul School of Integrated Sciences and Technologies, the National Industrial Awards was a venue for acknowledging companies and institutions that contributed to national industrial and economic development.
▣ Celebrating its 41st anniversary this year, KNF won the grand prize at the Awards for its innovative culture of relentless process improvements and production of high-quality nuclear fuel materials under the vision of “Nuclear Power for the Future, New Global Standard.”
▣ In addition, KNF has maintained a series of ISO certifications including ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 14001 (environmental management), ISO 45001 (safety management), ISO 27001 (information security), and ISO 37001 (anti-bribery management), and also received the Presidential Citation in national quality management as a testament to its world-class management system in various aspects.
▣ CEO Choi said, “We are honored to have received this award as a token of improved quality, and this was possible through our joint effort. We promise to do our best to supply safe, high-quality nuclear fuels by further advancing our quality management system with this award as a stepping stone.”
