KEPCO NF was chosen as the “2011 Family-friendly Company” by the Ministry of Health & Welfare on November 22, 2011 in recognition of its promotion of welfare programs. It has been consistently upgrading institutions, systems and facilities to offer a family-friendly environment to its employees.

Park Noh-seok, chief of KEPCO NF’s Business Management Division, noted that spurred by the growing increase in the number of women engaged in economic activity, problems facing working couples could have significant impacts on industrial growth. To enable employees to remain happy-minded and dedicated to company work, he said it is important for corporations to pursue institutional changes.
